Knitting had a creative explosion in the 1970s, with crafty people wanting to look back on days of yesteryear. Staying true with the time, many outrageous textiles were created, and knitting took a psychedelic turn that had not been seen before the decade. This piece is completely hand knit out of various soft acrylic yarns. The stripes have a ribbed feeling and the yarn includes a variety of textures including fuzzy and sparkely. Maker unknown.
